How do I close my account?

If you are registered for online banking, you can close your account using this service. 

Easy Access Account 
To close your Easy Access Account, please select close account under the place instruction tab. Following your instruction, your funds will be repaid or transferred by the end of the next business day and the account will be closed. 

Notice Account 
To close your Notice Account, please contact our Customer Services team via secure message. Once you have completed your notice period, following your instruction your funds will be repaid or transferred and the account will be closed. 

Fixed Rate Bond 
Our Fixed Rate Bonds cannot be closed prior to maturity. To close your Fixed Rate Bond at maturity, please choose an option under the place instruction tab. Once your account reaches maturity, following your instruction, your funds will be repaid or transferred and the account will be closed. 

Fixed Rate Cash ISA 
If you choose to close your account before it reaches maturity, you will be charged the appropriate amount of interest. To close your Fixed Rate Cash ISA, please choose an option under the place instruction tab. Once your account reaches maturity, following your instruction your funds will be repaid or transferred and the account will be closed.
