Will I be charged if I withdraw or transfer my isa early?
After your 14 day cooling off period, if you decide to close or transfer your Fixed Rate Cash ISA before it reaches maturity, you’ll need to withdraw the full balance.
An early access interest charge will apply, based on the balance at the time of withdrawal or transfer. You will not receive any interest earned so far if you close or withdraw the account during this period.
The amount of interest charged depends on the length of your Fixed Rate Cash ISA, as shown below:
| Product term | Interest charged |
| 1 Year | 90 days’ interest |
| 2 Year | 150 days’ interest |
| 3 Year | 270 days’ interest |
| 5 Year | 365 days’ interest |
If the interest you’ve earned doesn’t fully cover this charge, you may receive back less than you originally deposited.
Partial withdrawals aren’t available on Fixed Rate Cash ISAs.
