How do I register Power of Attorney for an existing deposit account?
We will need you to provide us with:
- The Attorney’s full name
- The Attorney’s date of birth
- The Attorney’s residential address
- A certified copy of the Power of Attorney document or Deputy order.
Once we've received the Power of Attorney document we'll carry out electronic identity and residency checks. If these checks aren't successful, we'll write to you to request proof of identity and residency. We aim to write to you within 5 working days of receiving your Power of Attorney document.
